Your new medication journey, step by step
Your prescription is sent to a specialty pharmacy
Your doctor or Madrigal Patient Support will send your Rezdiffra® (resmetirom) prescription to a specialty pharmacy.
Our specialty pharmacies include: AcariaHealth, Accredo, Amber, CenterWell, CVS Specialty, Optum, and Walgreens Specialty.

Your medication is ready for delivery
Your specialty pharmacy or Madrigal Patient Support will call you to schedule your medication delivery. It's important that you confirm your shipping address.
Most patients typically receive their medication within about 30 days.
Keep in mind
The specialty pharmacy will not ship your medication until they confirm your shipping address. Be sure to answer or return any missed calls from your specialty pharmacy and Madrigal Patient Support.
It's time to refill your prescription
Your specialty pharmacy or Madrigal Patient Support will call you when it's time for a refill. It's important to answer the call to keep on track with your medicine.

The specialty pharmacy or Madrigal Patient Support will call you to review your prescription, confirm your insurance, and discuss financial assistance options. Once everything is verified, your medication is shipped straight to you.

There is a limited network of specialty pharmacies that fulfill Rezdiffra® (resmetirom) prescriptions. Your insurance provider may determine which specialty pharmacy can fill your prescription. You can contact your doctor’s office to find out which specialty pharmacy is filling your prescription.
