About specialty pharmacies
A specialty pharmacy stocks medications and treatments that are not typically found at your local retail pharmacy. They provide medications that typically require special handling or are for chronic or complex conditions. Specialty pharmacies ship your medication directly to you.
There is a limited network of specialty pharmacies that fulfill Rezdiffra® (resmetirom) prescriptions. Your insurance provider may determine which specialty pharmacy can fill your prescription. You can contact your doctor’s office to find out which specialty pharmacy is filling your prescription.
Your Patient Access Manager can help you understand the specialty pharmacy process and what next steps to expect. You can call Madrigal Patient Support or your specialty pharmacy with any questions.
