specialty pharmacies
Did you know?
Specialty pharmacies involve a different process from retail pharmacies. Our team can help you understand the process and next steps.
Medicine costs, coverage, and financial assistance are confirmed
Your insurance may require your doctor to send medical documents to cover your medicine. This process is called prior authorization (PA). Madrigal Patient Support and your pharmacy will work with your doctor and insurance provider to complete the PA to help you get your medicine as quickly as possible.
Once coverage is confirmed, your Madrigal Patient Support Case Manager and your specialty pharmacy will explain any out-of-pocket costs. Your Case Manager will identify and inform you of potential financial assistance options that may be available to you.
Explore savings
If you have commercial insurance, you may be able to pay as little as a $10 copay*.
*Eligibility rules apply. Offer not valid for patients enrolled in Medicare, Medicaid, or other federal or state healthcare programs. For program terms, conditions, and eligibility criteria, visit copay.rezdiffra.com .
You'll get a call when your medicine is ready for delivery
Madrigal Patient Support or the specialty pharmacy will call you to confirm your shipping address and schedule the delivery of your medicine. Most patients typically receive their medicine within 30-45 days
Keep in mind
The specialty pharmacy will not ship your medicine until they confirm your shipping address. Be sure to answer or return any missed calls from Madrigal Patient Support and your specialty pharmacy.
You'll get another call when it's time for a refill
Madrigal Patient Support or your specialty pharmacy will call you when it's time for a refill. It's important to answer the call to keep on track with your medicine.
